The PACCAR MX-13 Carbon Scraper Ring is required to install pistons in liners with carbon scraper rings in Paccar MX 13 truck engines.

The Paccar MX-13 1809912 tool is used in conjunction with an existing piston ring compressor to install piston rings into anti polishing cylinder liners.

Simply lubricate the inside of the cylinder liner with clean engine oil and position the Paccar carbon scraper ring tool into the recessed area of the cylinder liner before installing the piston.
